Today is our 9th wedding anniversary!
Hard to believe that nine years have passed-- actually it has been 12 years; we dated for three. It is so wonderful to still be in love and absolutely convinced that you married the perfect person. I can't imagine life with anyone but Scott. He is my best friend. We have been through more things together than I can even begin to list-- from big to small--
* Teaching me how to ski in Colorado and staying frozen in the same place with me for hours because I was crying and afraid to move!
* Getting various jobs and seeing each other through the transitions
* Having a child! Learning that we are no longer two, but three! We are still working through this one!
* My parents getting cancer
* His parents getting divorced and remarried to others
* Buying a beautiful house and putting up with me as I tried to decorate it!
* Traveling all over the world-- Paris, Rome, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, etc.
There is simply no other way than to say it-- We are just blessed. God has been so good.
I pray that we have many more wonderful years together. I know that life will not always present us with a smooth path, but I truly believe that our family-- Scott, Luke, and I will be able to make through anything together.
